Convicted terrorist Nidal Hasan and the Virginia Tech connection

The Readiness Processing Center at Fort Hood, TX was the scene of unbelievable chaos and carnage at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2009 when US Army Major Nidal Hasan killed 13 and wounded 30 workers and soldiers in the name of Allah.

Recently I learned Nidal Hasan, now a convicted Islamic terrorist, had very close connections to my area near Roanoke, VA. He graduated from Virginia Tech, just 40 miles from my home. He lived and attended Virginia Western Community College in my hometown of Roanoke, VA.

In 2008, one year before the Fort Hood shooting, I conducted an extensive research project at Virginia Tech (VT), Blacksburg, VA. The analysis determined the following:

1. VT has a strong connection with Saudi Arabia. Many Saudi students attend VT, specifically in the Engineering Department.
2. The Islamic Center of Blacksburg is the primary mosque used by VT Muslim Students.
3. The Islamic Center of Blacksburg distributes violent Saudi/Salafis (Wahhabi) material on the campus of VT.
4. The Islamic Center was rated at a grade of “10”. A “10” indicates a mosque advocates violence against innocent people (infidels), supports the implementation of Sharia law in America and mosque worshippers are more likely to commit violent acts because of their Islamic beliefs.
5. The Muslim Student Association (MSA), a Muslim Brotherhood front organization, is very active on VT. The Islamic Center of Blacksburg has Islamic leaders from their mosque teaching at VT.

Many Americans have wondered where Hasan was taught the most dangerous aspects of Islam and Sharia law. He was taught about shariah Islam during his studies in Roanoke, VA. There are two Sunni mosques in Roanoke and at VT. I have been to over 250 mosques in America and what Nidal Hasan did at Fort Hood is exactly what is being taught in 80% of Sunni mosques in America.

In 2008 when I conducted the research at the Blacksburg Islamic Center, I did everything possible to alert the VT Police and the Roanoke FBI based in Roanoke, VA.

The information was ignored in 2008 and continues to be ignored even today. The students at VT are in serious danger of an attack by an individual like Nidal Hasan, because they are being taught the Islamic ideology and Sharia law as Hasan was. Article from the VA Tech News on November 6, 2009 states, “Virginia Tech has confirmed with the United States Army Human Resources Command in Alexandria, Va., that the alleged shooter at Fort Hood, Texas, once attended Virginia Tech.”

According to Virginia Tech records:

Nidal Malik Hasan first enrolled at Virginia Tech for Summer Session II in 1992, and completed coursework in spring semester 1995. He received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biochemistry from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He minored in biology and chemistry.

Prior to enrolling at Virginia Tech, Hasan was a student and completed coursework at Barstow Community College in Barstow, Calif., and at Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Va.

Hasan was not a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, nor was he a member of any ROTC program at Virginia Tech.
